| Compatibility: Because of the size this fish attains it must be housed in a very large aquarium. They will do well in a group until they pair off and spawning begins. They are extremely aggressive to other "community" cichlids. |
| Comments: One of the most impressive species I
own. The iridescent shades of blue they possess are striking in a
well lit tank. I have an adult in the back bedroom. Every time
I walk down the hall he shoots to the side of the tank to watch me pass. The fry are one of the fastest growing I have ever seen. Newly born they are large and active . |
