Amphilophus festae A while back my pal at the Cichlid Scene was gracious enough to give me one of his award winning fish as a breeder for my male. We have named her "Anna Nicole Festae" because of the size difference between her and the male. I have kept many Central & South American Cichlids over the years. This particular species has proven to be one of the biggest challenges regarding aggressive behavior. The male pictured here killed two previous female mates during the breeding process. The smaller female shown in the picture is a Columbian variant which was given to me by a good friend from Jersey..."Aikido Guy" |
